澳洲华人生物医学科学家协会（AACBS）于2023年11月14日接待广州医科大学赵醒村校长一行。AACBS会长齐延飞、荣誉会长张素冰、副会长石燕川出席此次活动。双方就暑期学生访问、师资培养、学科平台建设进行了深入的探讨交流。齐延飞会长与赵醒村校长代表双方签署了友好合作备忘录。

澳洲华人生物医学科学家协会（AACBS）于2023年9月9日在Kogarah Clubhouse成功举行了第七届协会执行理事会成员的投票选举。各位理事会成员为协会未来的领导层投下了宝贵的一票。新一届AACBS的领导团队（执行理事会）的组成如下：
名誉会长：Belamy Cheung，Children’s Cancer Institute
会长： Yanfei Jacob Qi, Centenary Institute
副会长： Yanchuan Shi，Garvan Institute
秘书长：Chao Deng，University of Wollongong
财务总监：Bin Wang, St Vincent’s Hospital
公共事务总监：Kevin Ni，St George Hospital
会议还选出了24名理事会成员及协会分支机构International collaboration sub-committee，Education sub-committee， Academic sub-committee，Philanthropy sub-committee，Communication sub-committee和EMCR sub-committee的负责人和成员。
此次选举结果将由协会荣誉会长Belamy Cheung在11月12日的协会年会上报告全体与会会员表决通过，新任会长Jacob Qi也将在年会上公布协会的下一步改革方案。
我们相信新一届领导团队将为协会的使命和愿景注入新的活力，并致力于推动在澳华人医学生物科学家的事业进步和医学科学领域的创新和卓越发展。

Professor Jing Sun
AACBS会员、澳大利亚格里菲斯大学（Griffith University）医学与口腔学院孙静教授近日荣获第二届国际工程技术学院绿色发展与可持续性奖（International Engineering and Technology Institute Green Development and Sustainability Award ），以表彰她在全球和澳大利亚本地层面的健康不平等（health inequality）方面所作出的杰出贡献。孙教授同时应用了大数据分析方法，包括多层次分析、元分析、贝叶斯方法、时间序列分析、S16测序、神经影像学、机器学习和深度学习方法，来处理来自全球的大规模临床和调查数据。她的研究聚焦于可持续发展目标，倡导改善低中等收入国家的留守儿童、儿童和母亲以及慢性病患者的健康状况，以减少医疗服务的不平等现象。此项研究工作对于推动全球健康平等具有重要意义。

2023 2nd International Engineering and Technology Institute Green Development and Sustainability Award
Professor Jing Sun, School of Medicine and Dentistry, Griffith University
Prof Jing Sun's contribution to the sustainability goal focuses on the health inequality research in global, regional and local level while simultaneously applying big data analytical approach, ranging from multi-level analysis, meta-analysis, Bayesian approach, time series, S16 Sequencing, neuroimaging, to machine learning and deep learning methods for global, national and large clinical and survey data. Her research in health inequality research focuses on sustainable developmental goals and advocate for the positive health outcome of left-behind children, children and mothers in low and middle income countries, people with chronic diseases in order to reduce the inequality of health care services.
