Congratulations to Dr. Jingli Hao for obtaining 2016 PCFA John Mills Young Investigator Award
Dr Jingli Hao is a scientific officer in the cancer research group at St. George Hospital. She graduated from China Pharmaceutical University, China. She received her PhD degree in 2012 from the University of New South Wales under the direction of Associate Professor Yong Li. Her main research interests are in prostate cancer (CaP) cell biology and radiation therapy. Her current project centers on discovering of novel biomarkers associated with CaP radioresistance, as well as developing novel combination therapies for radioresistant CaP using in vitro and in vivo animal models. She is the recipient of the St. George New Investigator Award 2014 and PCFA John Mills Young Investigator Award 2016.

Congratulations to Dr. Duohui Jing for obtaining Cancer Institute NSW / Early Career Fellowship, 2016 - 2018
Dr Duohui Jing is a researcher officer in the Leukaemia Biology Program at Children’s Cancer Institute, UNSW. He graduated from Tsinghua University, China, and undertook PhD studies at Dresden University of Technology, Germany. In 2011, Duohui relocated from Germany to Australia and started his post-doctoral research on mechanisms of glucocorticoid resistance in paediatric acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL). He has generated gene expression profiles and “epigenetic landscapes” of glucocorticoid-resistant paediatric ALLs, and identified a novel epigenetic mechanism involved in glucocorticoid-induced apoptosis.
